I'm Dr. Rockso and I do cocaine! KI-KI-KI-KI-YEAAAAHHHHH! Not really. I'm just a dude who likes to tell you about snowboarding stuff and things. I will say this statement that has nothing to do with snowboarding at all right here; it's a mellow night on S. Sherman St. here in the lungs of Englewood CO. This is a rare night. Tomorrow I'm foregoing snowboarding in an effort to put my Halloween costume together and also do some much-needed house maintenance.

So what's new this week? Not much as far as I can gather so I'm not bummin' all hard about not riding tomorrow or Sunday. Loveland is only reporting 1.5" of fresh and A-Basin is checking in at 0.5" according to coloradoski.com at the time of this writing. However this doesn't mean that the snow cannons aren't pulling triple duty. All it means is that this last cold front that rolled through was more for show than anything else.

Where are my southwest heads at? If you happen to be in the Durango/Pagosa Springs/South Fork/Bailey area for Halloween you should go hit up the mighty Wolf Creek. 10/31/09 is their scheduled opening day. Wear your costume riding for mad bonus points. If you've never hit Wolf Creek you need to do it before your knees give out. I'm dead serious here boys and girls, Wolf Creek is far and beyond the greatest mountain that you can ride without hiking, but you can hike Knife Ridge if you really want to.

What else? Well, if your life is anchored in the Front Range then you should know that the Scumdogs of the Universe, AKA GWAR are playing at the Gothic right here in sunny Englewood on 11/11. If that ain't metal then you can kiss my ass (thanks, Mr. Coe). Also, if you need a good sk8 flick to tide you over for the impending winter might I suggest Mind Field from the wierdos at Alien Workshop? Yeah, I just might. This vid shreds so hard I thought my esteemed roommate's TV was going to melt when I fired it up. Buy it, steal it, download it, do whatever you cool kids do these days just to see it. You won't be sorry. You should seriously buy it though. Jason Dill looks like he needs some food.

That's it for this week unless I change my mind.

Shred Hard.

Dave Berry.
