In my days of “riding”, I found that strapping into something long and stiff was preferred. With a unit like this, you can run deeper into the virgin trails, it also feels better with some bumps. No matter what, make sure you wax it good. Some like using a stick that is “more limp” than the norm. For some strange reason they believe that this helps in handling, when dealing with the sloppy obstacles. This generation of rider is too worried about solo tricks done in his own time for his own benefit. The limp malleable stick is good for “riding” with a wide stance down huge slopes of varying circumstances. Ideally the seasoned rider looks for a flowing control that allows for perfected thrust variables in tight curving creases. When it comes to handling the curves in the crease, the “rider” needs to understand that terrain can become wet and loose but they need to allow for a forced maneuver in any circumstance. All in all, I find to many “riders” find themselves in a pitfall of erroneous tensions in which they have no way to pull out.
